Dainty Sulphur
Nathalis iole

Observation date: August 01, 2021
Submitted by: Cascade Colors
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This was a pretty small butterfly; it seemed at least half the size of a few of the other sulphurs I have seen. Seems to have prominent black wing edges on the underside which seems kind of unusual based on the other pics on your site? But otherwise looks very much like the Dainty Sulphur.
Status: Temporary Colonist

Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID is correct...a male with a little wing damage. One of the annually consistent migrants into Colorado and produce a couple of separate flights in summer-fall. Mike
