Observation notes: Big rain last night, found in drive way about 10' from grapevine. No other Caterpillars on one and two year old vines. Day Lilly's, grass and "weeds" between drive way and vines.

Coordinator notes: The fully grown larva of the Achemon Sphinx Moth. Check out what the adult moth looks like...much more attractive than the caterpillar! Yes, the host preferred are especially grapes. My son has a vine on his patio and can hear them munching away close to the house! Good purple grapes...makes great jam too. Mike
