Coordinator notes: The abdominal spotting says this is a chalcedona and the subspecies there would be dwinlellei. Euphydryas colon sperryi is also in that area. Please always provide an exact locality to be able to know which this is. A county and a dot don't work in many areas. I'm calling this chalcedona because I believe sperryi and dwinellei are the same checkerspot, based on personal collecting. -Ken Davenport (But I couldf be wrong!)
