Coordinator notes: Not sure if the common name is widely used or not but this is a common large day-flying moth in many place in the Colorado mountains. Jon...I do not identify moths...there are other experts on BAMONA that do and can probably identify most. I try to identify those that I may be familiar with or have identified at hand in my collection of diunal, daytime flying moths I use for reference. Others, if I can not sent them on in the BAMONA system I will have to make as "cannot identify" and you will probably get a message on these to that effect. Mike
