Coordinator notes: you had me worried until I zoomed in and saw your sighting was near Carrizozo, where Mexican Sootywing would never be found. I had seen Mexican S'wing just last week at 8000 feet west of Bonito Lake and was thus reminded that it occurs in Lincoln County, but only at elevation.
