Observation notes: The weather has been off and on hot and cool for the past month while witnessing the butterfly flutter around the yard mid morning into the early afternoon. I have a desert like back yard, not overgrown but untamed with wild plants growing and additional potted plants and fruits. Zig zags around to get away, just as curious as I it lands on the back of my leg. As quick as it landed, it quickly zig zagged off before I was able to slowly come close enough to snap this photo. I do not know of the wild plants growing (shown in photo) & wild sunflowers. I also have strawberries, blackberries and pansies (that have died back) growing in pots. Minature roses, Calidora/Alocasia (Pursian Palm Plant or Elephant ears) a fuchsia plant/bush and bearded iris. Occasionally with wild reddish green clovers grow along the north east side of bed with aprox 4.5 hours sunlight.
