Date notes: Part of the Bairds Creek Parkway. Specimen was found in the driveway of the main parking lot near the creek.

Observation notes: Sunny, cloudless sky, approx. temperature 80 degrees, mid-morning. Moth was found sunning itself in a partial shade area; on the cement entrance and exit for the main parking lot near the creek. Moth was very calm and did not attempt to fly away from close human contact. Moth was moved to grassy area near, which was a safer place to rest and not in the direct line of traffic. Moth was offered a finger to climb up on and did so without much prodding.
