Observation notes: It was in a garden near West Lawrencetown Road on the eastern shore near Halifax, Nova Scotia (part of Halifax Regional Municipality). A cloudy humid afternoon, about 23 C. It was feeding on Russian oregano flowers. The homeowner noticed something had been eating her honeysuckle plant which apparently these moths like. It was going from flower to flower like butterflies and bees do. None of us had seen one before.
