Observation notes: I was in the area from 10 am until 2:10 pm and the regal fritillaries were around the whole time. The most observed at one time was 3. The fritillaries would be hidden in the vegetation and fly up when we got too close. They were nectaring on hoary vervain and butterfly milkweed.
