Observation notes: Hot, mostly-sunny, summer afternoon; seen in stand of tall plants near the eponymous lake of Hidden Lake Forest Preserve (which is mostly "grassland" around the lake), fluttering gently from plant to plant. The plants appear to be small willows. Its left forewing has significant damage.
