Observation notes: Not a lot to see, but the white chevron on the lower hindwing is arced outward...perhaps enough to ID?

Coordinator notes: Your observation that the lower part of the posterior part of the macular band spots (or posterior arm) arcs downward and is not straight in line (Hesperia pahaska - which also occurs in the area of your sighting) is the correct character to usually identify the Green Skipper - which this one is. Another good spot character for viridis are the two spots in the upper band (anterior arm). On viridis they are in close proximity to ones another (sometimes touching). They are separated farther apart on pahaska in most instances, along with the straighter line the lower band makes. Mike
