Observation notes: Several hundred individuals seen along the two tracks just north of M-28. I counted the first 100 fairly quickly, then stopped counting. Had to step carefully to avoid treading on them. Both males and females were flying, some quite fresh and others very tattered and worn. Many were nectaring on strawberry. Four individuals are shown.
