Observation notes: Mid afternoon in Vernon, B.C. I was watering my seedlings when this beautiful butterfly stopped by for a drink. It stayed for about 20 minutes resting and drinking from the soil. I recently had planted a variety of seeds earlier in the week for a butterfly garden.
