Observation notes: Sitting on road in cove. Very skittish and hard to photograph, so was collected. Only realized later it was faunus, not one of 3 other anglewings at location. Have never seen another at location. May be County record?

Coordinator notes: I am submitter and reviewer. Spent better part of last year making certain of this ID. Flash photo verified green mark pattern on underside, and dorsal pattern is exactly like Faunus photos. This is absolutely rare Faunus Anglewing from area in VA where it has not been recorded, to my knowledge.
