Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America freely available. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: This beautiful moth has chosen to place her eggs on a picture frame next to my front door. I would like to know what type of moth she is. I have no intention of disturbing her of her eggs. She's beautiful. The front of our home is in full shade with hosta plants, English ivy, coral bells, lily of the valley and impatiens in our flower beds. The picture frame is protected by an overhang that would prevent her from getting wet.
