Coordinator notes: A. octomaculata is mostly an eastern species but there are plenty of sightings in Texas and at least one other in New Mexico (see MPG - http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=9314). Just by eliminating the other Alypia and near-Alypia sp. I'm pretty sure you're right about this ID. JRains
