Observation notes: Individual was found sitting on a wall in a sheltered location during the early evening. It has mottled brown wings with a number of lighter, circular markings. Silhouette of the wings at rest is generally thin, but rounded in the middle, and the length from the head to the tip of the wings is about half an inch. Antennae are thin and mouthpiece is blocky and prominent. The legs and collar are relatively smooth. The insect's eyes are pale in colour with dark, visible dots for pupils.
