Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Three individuals were seen in the same area on the same night, attracted to an area lit by outdoor lights. The first four images are the same specimen, while the fifth and sixth photos are each different ones. The insects have primarily grey wings with darker markings in a "scale-like" pattern, and a few spots of reddish-grey hue that is more apparent in certain lighting. The bodies and collars are fuzzy, but the two hind sets of legs are lacking most fur and inatead have pointed protrusions at the joints. Eyes are round and large, and the mouthpiece is tucked away on the ventral side of the head. Antennae are thin. With wings folded, length from the head to the tips of the wings is approximately an inch.
