Observation notes: Was on the outside of the screened in deck. After I captured and released it, it came back to the same area on the screen. 1/4" graph paper under the moth.

Coordinator notes: This is probably Blastobasis glandulella but experts on Blastobasidae regret that in their opinion very few in the family can be identified with a photo and to make matters worse, there are dozens, maybe hundreds of undescribed species in North America. So while a number of records in the BAMONA database have been accepted as B. glandulella. Even these may be misidentified because there are several species that look like it.
