Observation notes: about 5 seen; calm, sunny, warm, dry, no nectar anywhere. wet spot of modest extent, very attractive to many insects, hordes of flies when I arrived; also wasps, tarantula hawks; lots of bird activity, walking along and grabbing insects with beaks; by mid-day, birds were coming in for water. 1 gryneus eaten by birds, only wings left.
