Observation notes: I noticed this larger skipper species last summer land briefly before taking off over the field out of sight. I was only able to capture a quick photo, unfortunately the quality isn’t the greatest. The colors also seem faded and the lower hindwings are a bit tattered , but with its size and visible markings it appears to best fit a Broad-winged Skipper. Thanks for the input!
