Observation notes: Near a floodlight on my deck. That was an interesting read, so BG has no agreed upon purpose. That is too bad. As an eBird user, I am impressed with the science that is coming out of that effort and the output from that work. eBird will be able to answer big questions about the impacts of climate change, as well as many other important things. The interface between insect distribution and birds is an important issue. Perhaps one site for ALL bugs is too much for one site to handle. Be interesting to see what happens with 2.0.
