Coordinator notes: I can't totally rule out Colias alexandra but the habitat you give fits occidentalis better (thats why people should fill out habitats, not skip giving such information). Many would call these Colias christina, but here I am following how Jonathan Pelham treats them. I took a series of Colias occidentalis (yellow and orange phenotypes) in the Ochoco Mountains July 13, 1996, the day after I took Colias pelidne. I did not have to look up the dates. All three species you submitted were historic finds for me. Thanks for sending me such interesting finds, and a challenge at that-Ken Davenport
