Observation notes: Group of Saucrobotys futilalis larvae feeding on Clasping Dogbane (Apocynum sibiricum). They have formed a nest by tying the leaves of the plant together with silk. The larvae leave the nest at dusk and travel singly or in small groups to feed on the leaves.
