Observation notes: Last individual to remain on the Butternut. It was gone the next day. Judging by the turn out in the summer of 2020, this species did not have any difficulty surviving the warm, snow-less winter or the unseasonably late spring freeze as many of the other species of moth and butterflies that used my property to breed.
