Observation notes: Certain that this is a Ceraunus Blue. I am located in Los Angeles so this has a slightly different variation with two spots near the “tail”. Very fast and was (defending?) a patch of peppers. We also have many others near Wax Apple shrubs/trees. They do really seem to be fighting over that shrub. I am pleased to be the first to record a specimen of such in the Pasadena area.

Coordinator notes: Ceraunus Blues do get into Los Angeles County but this appears to be within the variation range of the Marine Blue.-Ken Davenport
