Observation notes: Butterfly is feeding on Coyote Mint (Monardella villosa). Butterfly moved every time I got too close. Flitted from flower to flower. Lovely to watch. Could not achieve a well-focused, high-res image.

Coordinator notes: That locality is north of Pyrgus albescens known range, but albescens may be possible. but it would have to be identified by DNA or shape of the male organ, not a photograph. Burnsius is correct for the genus. BAMONA is behind in upgrading names is so is everyone else.-Ken davenport
