Observation notes: Caterpillar was observed on a Cattail leaf. It was in a large wetland in the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge. The potential identification came from the team at CaterpillarIdentification.org. Low Smartweed is very abundant in the area where the caterpillar was seen.
