Date notes: Saw 8/20/2020 in the afternoon. Also 9/17/2020 but was moving so much I couldn't get a clear picture

Observation notes: Had a native Florida landscape put in about 4 months ago. I have lots of Coontie. Sighted the butterfly on a palm near several coontie. It was resting a stayed on the palm for about 15 minutes. Saw one 9/17 but very active so my pictures are not good

Coordinator notes: This species is not native to southwestern Florida. It is possible that early stages were brought in with the plants, or adults reached this planting from another introduced colony
