Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Found near a light. I know this species has only been recorded in the south, mostly in Florida, but the pinned specimens on BOLDS look exactly the same, maculation, basal patch and size all matching the images and description (respectively) given. Also, this moth is quite common around my house in Arlington, I found it as early as June 5 this year, and this one was the last one I found before I went to college.

Coordinator notes: Sp. is previously known only in Florida, but the ID seems firm. It's status in MA is unknown. JR
