Observation notes: 2 groups clustered u-shaped on stems of a blueberry plant in the back of a heavily planted section of my gardens. It was warm, sunny & breezy. Having never seen these guys, I was a bit startled by the sight of them clustered on the branches. This is the 1st sighting for me in >3 years living here. Update: today (Sunday 6 Sept 2020), the group of 3 caterpillars now have black stripes replacing the red stripes seen yesterday.
