Observation notes: It was a bright sunny morning in my backyard. As Im pruning my Bird of Paradise I happen to spot this butterfly. I was very curious as to why it kept returning back to my Eureka Lemon Tree. It would land on a few leaves, fly around and repeat. This went on for almost 2 minutes. Then I realized the butterfly laid eggs on the young leaves. I was able to capture a photo of the freshly laid egg.
