Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Captured while it sat on an outside wall near an apple-crab tree. It was sitting just above the lip of one of our compost bins. I had been observing quite a few moths fluttering about and sometimes landing on the rotting apples in the tree when I spotted this moth. This specimen has quite a bit of white on its fore wing making it difficult to identify, so I decided on this suggested identification as it seemed closest to what I could find on this site.
