Observation notes: I just stepped outside to see what might be buzzing about in the yard and noticed this little skipper nectaring on mealy blue sage. I was sure I had never seen it here before so I sent the photo on to a friend who forwarded it on to an expert to be identified. It nectared there for just a minute or two and then disappeared into the yard.
