Date notes: Crawling across brick patio, we did not know at the time what it was. Second one seen here in North Bay On and daughter said she has seen three, lives 2 blocks away. I thought they looked cute but wasn't surprised they are "mildly poisonous" - wonder if would affect our dog which lies around that area. American Dagger Moth caterpillar

Observation notes: Lazily sauntering across the brickwork, put down a leaf which it examined and moved on. Sunny warm evening here in North Bay ON There is a huge maple tree close by but spouse foundone under a flowering plant nearby and thought he saw excrement pile? May put in our local online newspaper to warn of its possible sting
