Observation notes: It's hot and humid today (88oF) and sunny. This has my first sighting of this butterfly in my yard! The butterfly was on my butterfly bush, but I also have lots of milkweed, Joe Pye, Queen of the Prairie, hydrangeas, Queen Anne's Lace, Echinacea. Also a butterfly mix of annuals.
