Observation notes: I went down to the creek on our property and came across a large number of these guys. nice warm morning and sunny. it seemed there was something in the ground that kept them there

Coordinator notes: If you look closely on the visible ventral forewing surfaces, you can see the yellow submarginal band is more continuous. This would be broken into separate spots in P. glaucus. Also, the black-yellow junction on the ventral hindwing is nearly straight, which would have a more "scalloped" appearance in P. glaucus. -jmgesell
