Observation notes: Partly cloudy , very little breeze, temp in low 70s F. Observed at ~7200 ft elevation flitting about landing on various flowers for very short periods of time, not really feeding. Finally photographed on volunteer alfalfa plant on the side of the road.

Coordinator notes: a new species for Los Alamos County! we do see influxes of snouts every once in a while. this may be one of those years!
