Observation notes: Hill topping at summit of Tehachapi Mountain. Must have come up from the Mojave desert below these mountains. Looks pretty worn out from the trip. Sunny day in the 80’s F.

Coordinator notes: If this were a Desert Black Swallowtail the median yellow band would be ocelate shaped and there would be likely "polyxenes" spots on the abdomen.-Ken Davenport
