Observation notes: This beautiful moth flew/fluttered into the yard about 2:15, found a branch of an oak that has no leaves and has been clinging upside down to it. Still there at 7:15 p.m. It was definitely alive for most of that time and I think it still is. The breeze is up quite a bit yet it is still clinging upside down. Pleasant day, cool wind. The moth has a few tatters on the tails and the wing edges.
