Observation notes: I was walking along a trail with my family when I stumbled upon a dead moth on the forest floor. I picked it up and took it home to research it. One thing that I noticed was that it had a large hole in the side of its abdomen. My thoughts on that was that it could have possibly been used as a host for larvae of another bug, like a wasp.
