Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Popped out of (or from under) a holly tree as I was mowing. 70 degrees, sunny, pleasant evening. It appeared hurt...I gently picked it up and put it atop a hedge in the sun. It quivered there for about 30 seconds. I thought perhaps the shade would be better if stressed, but when I reached, it took off and flew away. We watched it fly out of sight.
