Coordinator notes: Keep your eye out for the black form of zelicaon - this is nitra. It looks kind of like a Black Swallowtail (P. polyxenes) but the wings are all zelicaon-shape (same size usually) and the trim color on the spots on the hindwings are just like yellow zelicaon. You may have better success finding it by hiking the local foothill-hilltops above the canyons like I did when I went to school at CSU 50 years ago! Mike
