Observation notes: I found this moth underneath a lawnchair after heavy rain last night. It looks as if some insect laid eggs into the moth and the body was eaten by the larvae - I do not know what kind of insect would do that and if I am correct in my assumption. I have the moth now in a plastic container and will see if the larvae develops into an insect. I will keep you further informed about any progress. If you have any suggestion as to how to treat this situation, please let me know.
