Observation notes: Several individuals flying low in the grass and stopping to nectar at bird's foot violet in the Newaygo Prairie Nature Sanctuary, just south of E 56th Street. It was difficult to tell how many individuals were present -- four are shown here. Clear skies, 72F, and breezy.
