Coordinator notes: Nice find, this is a Northern Oak Hairstreak! Note the distinct “W” shape formed by the white hindwing median line, singular rather than paired white lines on the fore and hindwing median lines, straighter forewing median line, slightly more triangular/pointed forewing shape, more prominent and extensive orange coloration on the leading edge of the forewing than typical of Banded, and cooler gray overall color than is usually the case in Banded.
