Observation notes: Seen this small butterfly (moth?) Hobbling across my driveway with an injured wing so I placed her on a lid and into a plant so she would be safe from enemies and in a familiar area .. she started laying smooth round pearly colored eggs within ten minutes . About 5 days later the eggs turned a silver metallic color and out came these adorable greyish cats with black heads and a "full head of hair" which were about as long as their bodies were and seem to be white in color .. only problem is I couldn't find mamma butterfly /moth online anywhere for hours of searching . So I am clueless as to what to feed these newborn catterpillars .. hoping you can help ! :(
