Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America freely available. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: A number of these, or similar looking butterflies, were in flight on this warm April day about the open Juniper brushlands. This is the only one that landed long enough for me to snap a picture.

Coordinator notes: Where in Delta County did you find these? There are different two species in Delta County. The one you photographed is the one usually at the more mountain locations around 7000 ft. or higher. Let me know if you can, email me directly at email@example.com I'd like to know if this might be a location where both possibly fly together. Thanks, Mike
