Observation notes: There are about 15 caterpillars--all sizes--some are only ¼" and in a sort of web. It seems to me they have grown very slowly, the one pictured has been there I think for weeks. They are on penstemon in my front yard next to my house, only on penstemon even though other plants are next to them. Today they were constantly moving and eating A LOT. Sunny day.
