Observation notes: Whatever the taxonomy of these green hairstreaks - this is what this one looks like at this locality at this date. high 60s, slight breeze, lots of flowering buckbrush or white ceonothus. both photos are same individual

Coordinator notes: This is BAMONA taxonomy. This would more accurately be called C. dumetorum dumetorum. Callophrys dumetorum perplexa is in southern California. The Coastal Green Hairstreak is now Callophrys viridis. Both are in Sonoma County. C. viridis should have more green on the forewing. Both could occur at the same localities.
